Thank you to all of our clients
Peak would like to take a moment and thank all of our clients for their patience during our extra-wet season! We saw a 62% increase in emergency water-related calls, where basements were underwater or seeping continually. More than one client called with seepage amounting to 100+ gallons per day! Needless to say, these sorts of situations caused scheduling crunches for our emergency service technicians, our System Design Specialists, and our production staff. All in all, 137 calls were handled last month--with 120 appointments occurring in July alone! That meant our System Design Specialists were working 14 hour days, 7 days a week for over a month and our clients were absolutely wonderful throughout the whole experience! If you guys have seen Jack and Aaron lately, you know they look exhausted--strung out even. You all have been wonderful about calling in and checking on them!
If the weather wasn't challenging enough, many clients called in after a lightning strike fried our server! It resulted in pen and paper style appointment recording, no access to appointment confirmation emails, lost or rejected emails, and no
hold music! Despite the many challenges of rerouting and setting up the new server, our clients were patient, kind, and very helpful! One of our clients called in to let us know that the hold music wasn't working properly and when she heard about what was going on, she offered to update this blog for us! Thankfully, Panera was just down the street and we were able to re-establish an internet link with the outside world without too much pain and suffering.
As you may have guessed, all these water-related calls haven't stopped just because we switched from July to August. We're still experiencing a high volume of emergency calls--both structural and water-related. I just want to express our heartfelt hope that you all will continue to be so wonderfully patient when we give you our available appointment dates. We're trying hard to train a new Denver-area System Design Specialist named Mike Sullivan, who can help Jack and Aaron with the heavy appointment load. We've also called Paul Sutton, our Owner, back into the System Design Specialist role to help out, so we're quickly working our way back to the appointment availability that you are all used to. As always, we promise that emergency service technicians are standing by to install temporary pumps to get your world back to dry and we'll continue to do that in a timely manner. We also stand by our commitment to give you a waterproofing or crawlspace system that is custom-designed for your needs. Again, we love you all and thank you so much for your kindness!
