Peak Basement Systems wins EICS Award

"For more than 80 years, the Better Business Bureau has been helping businesses improve their customer service. One of its goals is to help local companies develop service programs that keep customers coming back. That's why the Southern Colorado BBB Foundation launched the EICS (Excellence in Customer Service) program in 1995."

Designed to recognize superior customer service and help businesses improve their service practices, EICS is a comprehensive process to analyze a company’s customer service, enhance it and integrate a philosophy of continuous improvement. This process includes a series of rigorous interviews, applications, and verification. Companies are given over five months to develop and submit their applications. The Bureau then sifts, sorts and double checks the applicants for another four months before the award winners are chosen and announced.

Businesses that apply and meet the criteria are honored with the Excellence in Customer Service Award at a special banquet attended by the region's top community and business leaders. The 2008 banquet was held Thursday, September 25th and the 7 businesses were awarded this honor. We are honored to be one of the seven businesses.

The Excellence in Customer Service award isn’t given out lightly—the Customer Service professionals who evaluate businesses really dig deep into the core values and practices of each business. They look at past clients and evaluate their experiences, making sure that the business goes above and beyond. The evaluators spend time at each business watching the practices of each employee, manager, and department.
